Infrared blanket. Was skeptic of results at first. Super impressed after.
Super fun overhead waves this past weekend. Surfed for 3hrs the longest session in over a year.
Finally had decent overhead waves to ride this round pin Bezerk. Thought it would never touch the water as we go into summer. Older AM fins, that still personally feel better the the air core version, even though air cores look better.
The one who gave me what I have today. The catalyst of it all. I knew no one in the surf industry. He gave me the opportunity, showed me the skills, and gave me place to develop them.
I shaped my first board with him side by side, and will never look at a surfboard or shape line ever again the same without thinking of him, in mind, body and spirit.
Rest in peace Mike. See you on the other side. Forever in my heart.

I feel for all the surfers that were in the water in Fukushima Japan at the time of the earthquake in 2011, a place I have surfed and visited. Actually surfed right next to the Nuclear Power Plant.
Lots of just chill country style homes and surfers near some breaks.
So sad to think what they had to experience.
